Getting Started with User Interface (UI) Design Patterns

I consider myself to be somewhat of a collector. Not in the traditional sense, where I’m constantly checking eBay to see if I can snag the missing issues of The Walking Dead comic book series that I need, but a collector of patterns. More specifically, design patterns related to website and web application interface elements (or their UI). Whether it’s an account registration form I came across while signing up for a new service, or something as simple as a call-to-action button, I always have FireShot handy to grab a quick screenshot.
